The phone is answered by whoever is nearest, which between 9 and 4 is usually the director. If nobody picks up we are in a room, and we will call back the same day.

Getting here
- By bus. The 15 and the 20 both stop within four minutes' walk, on SE Belmont. The 75 stops six minutes away on César E. Chávez.
- By bike. Covered racks and a cargo-bike bay inside the gate, to the left. About a fifth of our families arrive this way.
- By car. Unrestricted street parking on Wrenbank and the two cross-streets. Drop-off is genuinely easy before 8:15 and genuinely not between 8:30 and 9.
- Access. The front entrance is step-free with a level threshold. All five rooms, the atelier and the accessible toilet are on the ground floor; the garden is reached by a ramp.
Who to ask for
- Tours and places — Rosa Iglesias, pedagogical director. Book on the tour page or just call.
- Something about your child's day — their room lead, at the door, at pickup. Always the fastest route.
- Billing, subsidies and the sliding scale — email us; it goes to the director and nowhere else.
- A concern about the centre — Rosa first, and if you would rather not, the Oregon Office of Child Care directly. You do not need our permission and we will not be told. More on that here.
A coverage panel, not a map
There is no map embedded or linked anywhere on this site, and that is a decision rather than an omission. SE Wrenbank Street does not exist. The street name, the number and the centre are invented for this demonstration, and no map is embedded or linked anywhere on this site — handing an invented address to a geocoder drops a pin on a real building under a name that is not theirs.
A map would also be the only third-party request on the page, which would quietly make the “no third-party embeds” line in our privacy noticefalse. So here is the thing the map was standing in for: who actually walks here.
Roughly two thirds of Meadow’s fictional families live within a twenty-minute walk or bike ride. Nobody is turned away for living further out, but a centre you cross the city for at 5:20pm on a wet Thursday is a centre you will come to resent.

- Only adults named on your written, signed pickup list may collect your child. We ask for photo identification from anyone we do not know by sight, every time. Changes are made in writing; a phoned change is confirmed by calling you back on the number in your file before it takes effect.

- Licence number
- Not published. A real centre’s certificate number is on the certificate by its front door and in the state’s public register; this demonstration has none, and printing an invented one in the state’s format could collide with a working centre’s.

There is no licence number, no accreditation and no quality rating on this site because there is nothing real to publish; the address, the phone number, the staff names and the tuition figures are invented. Nothing here should be relied on when choosing care for a child.
